We provide professional grooming services for breed specific dogs and for your not so specific grooming needs as well. Our professional dog groomer, Maryann Heffelfinger works weekly on Mondays, and appointments are recommended.
Maryann is a professional dog groomer with extensive experience in all breed specific cuts. Maryann became involved in grooming after she received her first Show Dog (Standard Schnauzer) in 1999. She spent several years being mentored by a Master Groomer and became proficient in all breed grooming. Maryann gives each dog personal attention and is very caring and gentle with your pet. It is important for her that all of her clients and their pets are happy with her services. She will provide guidance if asked, or follow the clients request to ensure the dogs health and comfort. Maryann spends as much time as required on each pet and does not rush through her services. She also offers hand stripping for wire-coated breeds (request only). In addition to the groom Maryann will clean out your pets’ ears, express the anal glands and trim their nails.
Maryann recognizes the importance of being involved with the community through a local Kennel Club. She spent several years on the Board of The Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club and later became the President of the Club. Due to her love for all breeds and types of dogs she wanted to help AKC facilitate the welcoming of mix breeds to participate in the wonderful sport of Obedience, Rally and other Companion events and succeeded in making Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club the first AKC club to hold the event in the USA.
Maryann is available for appointments every Monday. Cliftwood Animal Hospital can also provide basic or medicated baths and dips for those pets that don’t require a trim Monday through Friday.
